• The Quai de Jemmapes seems to be the most popular section of Canal St. Martin because it’s just a stone’s throw away from the République.

  If you were to wander this area on a nice day and hope to locate a spot to sit down, you would be really fortunate to do so. However, you should take note that there are usually large crowds of people here.

5 – Passage Brady

• There aren’t any huge retail malls in the vicinity, however there’s a covered passage called Passage Brady, where you may do some window shopping. When you visit Passage Brady, you’ll be treated to an adventure for the eyes, nose, and nostrils.

  Locals refer to this place as “Little India” because of the large number of Mauritian, Pakistani, and Reunionese businesses located here. Passage Brady is open from 11 AM to 7 PM, Tuesday to Sunday.

  The original business relocated to a bigger location, but the crew repurposed the earlier, smaller room as a venue to explore new approaches to the breakfast experience.

  In a cozy atmosphere, you may enjoy fresh small meals and delicious coffee. Here, the quality and variety of goods are completely random.

  You’ll take a left onto a quiet side street and find yourself in the bar’s secret courtyard, where you can have one of their unique cocktails while watching the world go by.

  You may have to stand in line with other well-dressed French people when you arrive around 10 p.m., but the trip will be well worthwhile.
